It is not unusual for girls and women to wonder if they are smart. But there is a bigger question that needs to be answered first: What’s the definition of smart? Is it the stars you get on your first grade drawing, perfect SAT scores, a C-level title, or being smarter than a man? Or is it finding your strengths, having character, expressing your opinions and believing in yourself? Emily Raleigh is a 20-year-old rising junior at Fordham University and the Founder & Smart Starter of Smart Girls Group.
