The latest Michael Bay sci-fi action sequel Transformers: Age of Extinction has already passed $400 million at the global box office, and is on course for a July 4th weekend tally in the neighborhood of $600 million worldwide. The film currently stands at $412.6 million in receipts, boosted by massive returns from China. That total doesn’t include figures for today (Thursday), so expect it to hit around $430 million by close of business later tonight. (Read my full review of the film here!)
