Forty years ago Eloise Charet and her sister Anna helped about 55 orphaned babies and children escape from the terror of Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. Charet was recently reunited with one of the children she saved, who is now an RCMP officer in Williams Lake, B.C.
