U.S. says airstrikes in Syria hit Khorasan militant group planning attack on West

The U.S. targeted ISIS in Syria Monday night, but also hit another group known as the Khorasan. The Pentagon says the al-Qaeda affiliated group was nearing the “execution phase” of an attack either in Europe or the U.S.
