Microsoft Shutters Xbox Entertainment Studios And Shows Why Content Is So Hard

If you grow up in the Boston area, no good adjective is ever left to stand on its own – “wicked” is the go-to adverb for all occasions.  How was that party (OK, pah-ty)? Wicked excellent! How hot (OK, hawt) was it yesterday? Wicked hot! And so, if someone asks me if succeeding in the content business is hard, I’d have to say, “Wicked hard!” Microsoft’s decision last week to shut down Xbox Entertainment Studios provides a window into that reality.
