On Monday we reported the record television viewership numbers on ESPN and Univision for the U.S.A. vs. Portugal match that aired on Sunday evening. The match was stacked with drama, making it a massive ratings hit for the two networks with footholds in the U.S. Depending on how the time slot for Thursday’s U.S.A. vs Germany match impacts totals, those ratings records may only hold till Friday.
