If You've Put Off Getting Married, Uber Wants You To Say 'I Do' This Saturday

Uber, the taxi-alternative that has experimented with delivering everything from Christmas trees to kittens, has decided to take the plunge. In honor of the Pride Week celebration in San Francisco,  Uber will deliver weddings on demand this Saturday to those ready to tie the knot. Using the company’s normal smartphone app on Saturday will bring up an additional selection, UberWedding, alongside the various choices of vehicle types. The company says demand will be high so it won’t be able to accommodate all requests. But if it’s able to deliver a wedding to you, it should take 45-60 minutes from the moment your mobile ceremony arrives to the time you’re officially married.
